Al-Hilal as an intern student presented the results of the RT/RW selection in Bogor City supported by the Head of Government at the West Jakarta Mayor’s Office

On Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 10.15 AM, on Head of Government Room, Al Hilal who is an intern from Padjadjaran University, Bandung, gave a presentation on the selection of RT/RW in Bogor City. In this presentation, Al discussed the selection of RT/RW in Bogor City, starting from the meaning, duties and functions, composition of the board, the selection process, requirements to become RT/RW, period of service, as well as the rights and obligations that must be carried out in accordance with the legal basis contained in the Bogor City Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Establishment of Community Institutions in the Village. The powerpoint template used by Al is Canva with a total of 13 slides, including the opening and closing. The purpose of this presentation is to provide material to the audience, Al trained himself to get used to making presentations, and to know how to select RT/RW in Bogor City.







After Al finished giving his presentation, Mr. Riadi as the Head of the Government asked the audience to provide criticism and suggestions for the presentation that had been made, so that Al could improve it in the next presentation. And in the criticism, some people say that Al's presentation still needs to be improved, including making eye contact with the audience and understanding the content of the presentation that you want to convey, so that it can reach the audience. In addition, Al's powerpoint background received a positive response from the audience who saw it. The appearance is considered very innovative, attractive, and pleasing to the eye. With the content of the presentation, there are still shortcomings, but the audience is very happy and feels quite satisfied with the display which is quite unique and colorful.



Not only criticism and suggestions regarding the presentation, Mr. Riadi also said that the content or material presented was still incomplete because the Mayor's Regulations were not used and only used regional regulations. And indeed a city should have mayor regulations and regional regulations. There was a difference of opinion when one of the interns majoring in Public Relations said that the powerpoint content should be in point form and short, but because this presentation is based on regional regulations, the content should not be changed or shortened because it will give a different meaning.



In following this presentation, we learned many new lessons related to government science, how to select RT/RW in Bogor City, and so on that were previously unknown. The conclusion of this presentation is that we all learn together, gain new knowledge that was not previously obtained in our department, with criticism and suggestions not to bring down but to continue to develop better in the future and become a lesson for later when doing presentation again.
